Over
Acidity Is What's Keeping You Fat!
If you
take a look around, on the street, in the mall, at the supermarket,
you'll see some truly over-weight people. With 70 percent of our country's
population being heavier than their ideal weight, it's next to impossible
to go out and not recognize that fact in almost every part of every
city and town - unless you are visiting the olympic tryouts.
We live
in a culture where people value everything more than their body. Their
money, their career, we would do anything for our kids, all these
other things. What's the last thing that shows up on this list? Our
bodies. You can plainly see this as you take a look at some of the
choices we make just in our diet alone. Our bodies can handle much
of we do to it, but we deserve to have our bodies running at full
tilt. You're body is quite intelligent and will try to handle all
the toxic foods you put into it. But, it's not really prepared to
handle ALL the things we do to it. Our bodies were not designed for
us to be able to process every food the way we do in modern times.
And, to take in the things we drink and eat that have no basis in
nature what-so-ever. Opposed to popular belief, your excess fat is
not truly the result, per say, of not counting calories properly,
watching fat intake, or as folks are told, "storing fat for the
'lean' times," as may have been the case for our earlier ancestors.
(When's the last time you had to fast for weeks because the herd of
buffalo have moved north and you're food hunting had been cut short?)
Your "belly-baggage", for most of us who aren't truly ill,
is the result of one thing...excess acid in our system.
You can
thank an overly acidic internal environment for the excess pounds
you are carrying around. In a defensive maneuver, the body creates
fat cells to carry acids away from your vital organs to
try to protect them.
In one sense, your fat is saving your life! But that's why your body
doesn't want to
let it go. When you
eat to make your body more basic (alkaline), your body won't need
to keep that
fat around anymore.
Weight
problems can also result from yeast and fungus interfering with the
digestion of food. The
nutritional deficiencies created can actually trigger your body to
pack on extra pounds, in part because you are always hungry. More
commonly, blood poisoned by mycotoxins goes to the liver to be detoxified
- and that added stress distracts the liver from efficiently metabolizing
fat and sugar.
For
Example
So,
picture this. This is the average person that we see. Let’s
say, using a woman as an example. She really is committed
to her body. The culture has
created these anchors that women focus even more on it than
men do…unfairly, by the way. So, this woman really wants
to make this change. So, she goes on a really good diet, and
she really makes all these shifts in her life. And, she says,
“I've gotta exercise!” But, she so stressed about
it, she’s creating an immense amount of what? Acid.
Secondly, when she exercises, she exercises to an extreme
cause she’s sick and tired of being over-weight. “I’m
gonna get a trainer, and I’m gonna kick butt, and I’m
gonna do whatever I can!” So, she produces massive exercise,
which produces massive amount of lactic what? Acid. Probably
exercises anaerobically, more than likely. Can you over-exercise,
yes or no? Oh yes. And, so now there is all this additional
acid is in her body. So now she says, “Wait a second,
it can’t be my metabolism, because I’m not eating
a bunch and I’m working out like a maniac!” I’ll
tell you what it is. You’re not over-fat, you’re
over-acid. You will not let go of the fat no matter how much
you exercise, no matter how much you eat right, if you do
not create an environment that is more alkaline. You can’t!
It’s a survival tool.

On the
other end of the spectrum, the yeast and fungus produced within an
overly acidic body can feed on your protein and other nutrients, interfering
with the absorption of everything you eat by as much as 50 percent.
This can cause you to become excessively thin, which is no healthier
than being overweight. As you restore a healthy balance in your body's
environment on a basic (alkaline) diet, you will begin to gain weight,
then stabilize at your ideal. Healthy bodies are not overweight
or underweight. A healthy body naturally maintains its own ideal weight.
