The AlkaZone BHL-3700 has several great features that make it one of the better, more affordable ionizers on the market! This machine stands out due to it's wide range of pH levels (5 alkaline & 2 acidic). It also has a self-cleaning cycle and can be installed on the counter top or mounted on the wall. The BHL-3700 also contains platinum covered titanium electrodes which produce great ionized water for the price! Overall, the AlkaZone BHL-3700 is a great mid-range machine!
Product Features
Artificial Intelligence MICOM Control. Every function of the machine, including the pH concentration level, is controlled through the central processing unit (CPU).
Fully Automatic Water Flow Sensor. This calculates the rate of water flow into the machine and flashes warning lights to come on when the water flow rate reaches out of the best possible range.
Self-Cleaning Function. Alkazone has an automatic built-in cleaning system, which cleans itself after each 10 liters of water passage. But if you are in the process of dispensing water when this 10-liter limit is achieved, the user-friendly Alkazone machine only begins the process of self-cleaning when you are done. When the water valve (diverter) is turned off, the machine cleans the electrolytic cell for near about 30 seconds and, after that, turns off. During this process, the CLEAN/DRAIN light indicator will keep flashing in addition to a melody.
Error Indicator. The function of the filter life display is to indicate the quantity of water that has run through the filter except when it discovers an error in the electrolytic cell. When this happens, an error code (err,1) is displayed on the system.
Rinse/Drain Module. When the machine goes into a self-clean process, the Clean/Drain indicator light will flash for almost 20 seconds. At the same time, its exclusive built-in voice prompt system will warn you to wait until the process ends.
Exclusive PE Plane Filter. Clinical Grade Activated Carbon, Calcium Insert Chamber, Silver Impregnated Activated Carbon and Calcium.
Super Easy To Use. Fully automatic operation is made possible by the built-in micro-computer (MICOM) system with artificial intelligence supported by a 4 MB Dram semiconductor.
Phonetic Prompt for Filter Replacement. Both the filter life display and the voice alert optically and aurally urge you to replace the filter when it has expired.

In addition there is a button for water that is "˜purified only' "“ filtered but not ionized. Its pH level will be close to the level of your regular tap water. This water is for those taking medicine which should not be combined with alkaline antioxidant water.
As for the various levels of acid ionized water, you will probably use the most acid level for the long list of uses for acid water.
Remember: the pH level of ionized water will vary with the pH of your water source, i.e. your tap water. In addition, if you wish to make the water more alkaline or more acid, simply slow down the flow of water, and the pH level will change by approximately a value of 1. A simple to use free pH test drop is provided free with every Alkazone® water ionizer, if you wish to occasionally check pH levels for yourself. Do I need a plumber to install my water ionizer? No. They come with a self installation kit that fits all standard kitchen faucets, and installs easily in minutes. With Self-installation kit, it just takes about 5 minutes. How do I get my ordinary tap water once it's attached? The diverter has a lever which swaps your water flow from tap outlet to alkaline antioxidant water outlet. It has an incorporated aerator for your tap water. Can I store the water? How long? Yes, alkaline ionized water is best kept in an airtight glass or quality plastic container which is poly carbonate bottle. It can be refrigerated or kept in a cool place. Avoid storage in metal, especially aluminum containers. The alkaline properties can be retained for up to 1-2 weeks in those special bottles, but alkaline antioxidant water is always strongest, freshest right after you get. The antioxidant properties start to diminish right after you get eventually. So for the best benefits, drink it within a day or so. If using plastic container, please use poly carbonate bottle. Bottled water is usually stored in cheap plastic that leaches chemicals. Factors that affect how long the pH and ORP will be depend on heat, movement, type of container and light. Can I cook with alkaline ionized water? Yes, in fact your food will taste better and your body will assimilate the nutrients more readily. You will notice the difference especially at the most alkaline settings (higher pH): your greens will be greener, rice fluffier, tea and coffee tastier. What can I use the acid water for? Acid ionized water is destructive to bacteria and astringent. As a result it has found widespread application commercially in nurseries, surgeries, food preparation areas, sprout and wheatgrass growers, florists, hospitals, etc. In the home it is an excellent cleansing and sterilizing agent, using in the kitchen, for hair and skin care, extending the life of flowers, promoting plant growth and many others. The acid water is a "˜free' bonus. It is excellent for all manner of skin complaint. You can use it as an astringent face wash.It's excellent for acne, sores, bench top and more. Is it necessary to test my water or body to determine what the pH currently is so I adjust the machine appropriately? We are almost all too acidic due to poor food, environmental pollutants, lack of gentle exercise and stress.Even if not too acidic, our bodies will continue to benefit from alkaline foods and water. When beginning to use alkaline antioxidant water start at a low (gentle) alkaline setting. This water really does work and change lives and as a result for first few days there may be symptoms of rebounding such as mild headache, mental confusion and diarrhea. Once these symptoms pass,you can adjust your setting to next higher one. Ionizer performance varies with the mineral content of the source water. We include a free pH test kit with each unit so you can test the output water at the various settings. What are some of the harmful organisms and chemicals removed by the Alkazone® ionizer filters? Chlorine, trihalomethanes, suspended solids, cryptosporidium, parasite (cysts), waterborne flu virus, organic compounds, heavy metals, e-coli and other bacteria. In addition, the ionization process that follows filtration reduces the amount of acid minerals (such as sulfates) in the alkaline antioxidant water. It also has the effect of greatly reducing fluoride concentration. (see the specification in filter cartridge section) How long will a filter typically last for normal size of family? One filter produces about 1000 gallons (or about 3,800 liters) of water. We estimate for an average family of four with average daily consumption using treated water, a filter will last about 6-8 months. Do I need a special nozzle to attach it to the sink? Your water ionizer comes with an adapter kit which will fit most traditional outlets but may not fit some of the designer taps which have pull out handles with a flexible hose. Give us a call and have a talk about your requirements before ordering. It is far simpler than setting up your VCR! You attach the sturdy diverter valve to your faucet; attach the supplied hose to the diverter, and the other end to the inlet valve. Another hose attaches to the ionizer to allow the astringent (acid) water out.

Pack the product in its original carton (include proof of purchase inside box), and in the same manner in which you received it, or as identical as possible. Label and ship the unit, freight prepaid, to the address provided.Other Conditions: The provisions of this warranty are in lieu of any other written warranty, whether express or implied, written or oral, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The manufacturer's maximum liability shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid by you for the product. In no event shall the manufacturer be liable for special, incidental, consequential, or indirect damages. This warranty does not cover a defect that resulted from improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, accident, improper packing, or unauthorized tampering, alteration, or modification as determined solely by us. This warranty applies only while this product is in use within the USA.
