The Chanson Revolution is very much like its little brother, the Chanson Miracle M.A.X. with the exception of a larger electrolysis system, giving it its capability to process water at a higher flow rate.
The Chanson Revolution water ionizer will make both strong acid and alkaline water for anyone with ANY water source, and is powerful enough to be used for disinfecting by doctors, hospitals, dentists, spas, vets, restaurants, the food industry and, of course, for home use. The Revolution is uses mineral rich nutritional Himalayan rock salt instead of a bleach/salt injection that leaves toxic residue on your ionization plates.
At least 50% of the benefit of owning a water ionizer is the prized low pH acid water which has over a hundred uses, will reduce household chemical and cleaner expenses by 50%, and is absolutely miraculous for the body, skin and hair. What exactly is a water ionizer?
Water ionization, or water electrolysis, is the method of producing a concentration of alkaline and acidic minerals - separating the oxygen and hydrogen found in water (H2O). The alkaline water provides an antioxidant and electron rich medium for consumption, and the acidic water provides oxidizing water that works like an antibacterial and cleanser for external use. A water ionizer is an electronic device that achieves the separation of water into alkaline and acidic streams, straight from your tap water, by a method of electrolysis.
How does a water ionizer hook up to my tap water?
A water ionizer sits neatly on your countertop near your sink, can be mounted on your wall, or can be put below the sink (with an optional undersink kit). It hooks directly up to your faucet with a diverter valve that allows you to alternate between running water through the ionizer or running water through your faucet. It is a flow-through unit so your water is filtered and ionized instantly. There are no tanks to fill. The water travels through the filters and then the ionizing chamber quickly, producing about 3 liters of water per minute. The water ionizer also has to be plugged in, so you will want to make sure you have an electrical outlet near the water ionizer.
What can I use the acidic water for?
The skin is naturally an acidic organ. People who regularly use acidic water to wash their bodies tend to have a younger looking skin than those who use hard water. Hard water is water that is alkaline usually due to the presence of excess calcium. By applying acidic (soft) ionized water to the skin it will help to clear up excess bacteria (reduce acne and other blemishes) and will work like an astringent to tighten up the skin and remove wrinkles. In Japanese hospitals acidic water is used to help sterilize wounds, treat diabetic ulcers and keep hospitals clear of infectious bacteria and viruses. Acidic ionized water can also be used to reduce inflammation and itchiness caused by insect bites.
Why do water ionizers have different levels of pH that can be selected?
Water ionizers usually have at least 3 levels of intensity to choose from. This is mainly because ionized water is extremely detoxifying; people who have toxins built up in their system can suffer reactions such as headaches or diarrhea. This is especially true of the elderly because they often have built up many toxins in their bodies over the years. Also those who have a very poor diet or have taken a lot of medications over the years. Having different levels of pH available simply allows people to build their tolerance for ionized water more slowly if they wish.
Is a water ionizer difficult to install?
Absolutely not. Installing a water ionizer is relatively easy, and only takes about 5 minutes. There is no special plumbing skills required, and can be installed by almost anyone. The only problem people encounter with installing a water ionizer, is trying to get that rusted aerator off of the faucet that probably should have been changed years ago. Other than that, installing an ionizer is no more difficult that hooking up a new coffee maker.
What is the maximum water pressure my house can have when using a Chanson water ionizer?
The Chanson warranty doesn't cover damage from excessive water pressure. Pressure shouldn't exceed 60 psi. If you're unsure, please have your water pressure checked before installing your ionizer. Call your local plumber for inspection, or for $10 you can purchase a water pressure gauge from your local Home Depot and test it yourself. The water pressure gauge simply screws on any outside hose and will reveal your water pressure when the water is turned on.
Does the Revolution need a pre-filter?
Yes. Like all Chanson ionizers, the Revolution uses the PJ-6000 filter and we recommend prefiltration for all customers. Ionization causes the water molecule to be smaller, potentially concentrating any contaminates. Prefiltration removes a greater percentage of chlorine, chloramines, fluoride, arsenic, heavy metals, bacteria, pharmaceuticals and other contaminates than any onboard filter can by itself. Buy one to protect your health and your investment.
Can running hot water through my Chanson water ionizer damage it?
No. While all Chanson ionizers are equipped with a hot water sensor to prevent damage to the filter, our plates and membranes are built with such high quality that hot water cannot damage them. In fact, we run scalding hot water through them as part of our cleaning and maintenance process and have been for over four years now. With Chanson you can rest assured that no harm will come to your ionizer if you accidentally run hot water through it. The only thing that may be compromised is the filter which is much cheaper and easier to replace.
What is the difference between the Revolution and the Miracle M.A.X.?
The Revolution and Miracle M.A.X. are almost identical, except in two major areas. The first os the that Revolution is a 9-plate ionizer while the Miracle M.A.X. is a 7-plate ionizer. The larger electrolysis system allows the Revolution to still ionizer the incoming while running at a much higher flow rate. Which is the second difference. The revolution does not have an internal selenoid flow valve that might restrict the water flow, allowing it to process water at a faster 6.6 liter per minuter compared to 3.8 LPM for the Miracle M.A.X.

Warranty Information
Warranty: The limited lifetime warranty covers any and/or all defective parts on all 7 and 9 plate models for the life of the ionizer (the life of the ionizer is calculated at 10 years). For the first five (5) years all parts and labor are covered. If you experience a problem with your ionizer during the first 60 days and it was purchased from Chanson Water USA we cover ground shipping each way. After the first 60 days, the customer is responsible for shipping both ways or may deliver it to a local authorized service center. After the first five (5) years have passed, the customer will have to pay for labor and freight charges but replacement parts remain free for the life of the ionizer (10 year period).
Limits and Exclusions: The Limited Lifetime warranty expressly covers all failures due to defects in materials and/or workmanship; which can occur during normal use. This is a "repair or replace" warranty, Chanson Water® USA will always attempt to repair your unit, if repair is not possible Chanson Water® USA will supply a replacement unit at its discretion. Repair work can only be done through the Chanson Water® USA repair center in Laguna Hills, California or an authorized repair center. Never attempt to open or service a Chanson water ionizer, this will immediately void your warranty. Please thoroughly read the owners manual and watch the installation video before attempting to use your ionizer.
